Deep North opens new venue on Dean Street, Newcastle
Since opening on Front Street in Tynemouth, Deep North’s donuts, known for their experimental flavors, have become a huge hit in Tyne and Wear.
This popularity of the store and its founders Phil and Tom led to Deep North opening another store on Dean Street in Newcastle late last week.

On its social media channel, Deep North thanked its team for opening the Dean Street venue while also welcoming a host of new customers.
His social media post, posted alongside a picture of the Deep North team, said: “Some members of the DN team at the opening on Dean Street.”

“Great team effort to get us open – very grateful.”
Now that the company has opened its new location, customers can expect the same creative donuts they’ve enjoyed on Front Street, including a donut inspired by Homer from The Simpsons, sticky toffee pudding, crème bruleè and espresso glaze.
In addition to donuts, Deep North also serves specialty coffee, sells donuts online, and hosts events at its venue.
