One of Wear McLean’s most famous pieces, Vincent, was composed on an acoustic guitar. It is currently for sale. The singer-songwriter’s most successful album, American Pie, featured other songs recorded with the guitar.

The back, sides and bridge of the guitar have solid spruce and rosewood tops. It is described as “in good condition with evidence of a re-glued bridge and scratches”. 12-fret mahogany neck with dot inlays on the rosewood fingerboard and slotted headstock.
