Despite leaving school late, Hana tells Senpai that she is fine because someone is picking her up. Just then, the former president of the Kunstverein, Sunomia, stops to get Hana on her motorbike. When Hana tells her older cousin about Senpai’s predicament, Sunomiya suggests he follow his heart.

Nagatoro asks Senpai if he misses her as they walk home from school and he admits that he misses her.

When Senpai becomes discouraged, Nagatoro immediately stops joking and suggests that they could hang out somewhere nearby instead. She then tells Senpai to choose the location. He thinks of places like the cinema or the racetrack and tries to gauge their taste, but before he can think of anything, the two part ways on the way home.

After seeing a penguin sign on the road, Senpai recalls Nagatoro mentioning that he wanted to see them. Knowing where he wants to take her, Senpai turns and runs to Nagatoro to ask if she would like to go to the aquarium with him.

When Nagatoro and Senpai meet the next day, we can see Gamo and Yoshi spying on them remotely to protect Senpai’s virginity. At the same time, Hana and Sunomiya also move in to protect Senpai’s romantic aspirations.

There were many funny, cute moments in this episode that made it easy to enjoy and laugh at. Adding Hana to the cast worked well in my opinion as Senpai has always felt a little lacking in the friendship department. It’s nice to see how he interacts with other characters, especially female characters who Nagatoro isn’t immediately jealous of.

One of the best parts of this episode was when Senpai turned to run back to Nagatoro and ask her out. It felt like a moment straight out of a romantic comedy script with the dramatic music and dialogue. It was easy to see that this was a pivotal moment in their relationship.
