Drax faces fine after Canadian biomass power plant fails to submit pollution report

The regulator said companies that fail to file their reports on time will face penalties under Canada’s Environmental Protection Act, which includes penalties, written warnings, orders, Environmental Protection Compliance Orders (EPCOs) and possible fines of up to $500,000 (£300,000).
