Eamonn Holmes hits out after Philip Schofield claims witch hunt
The Northern Ireland broadcaster left This Morning in 2021 and recently joined GB News where he has been hosting a new morning programme.
In a post on Instagram, Holmes shared a picture of himself in an airport with the comment, “I need something more these days…..😊”
However, fans have been critical of his recent comments related to the reported feud between Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning.
Fans cheer for Eamonn Holmes over Philip Schofield’s ‘Witch Hunt’
One fan replied: “I’m a huge fan of yours Eamonn and will continue to be. I only wish you hadn’t embarked on Phil and Holly’s witch hunt. Maybe I don’t know everything, but I hate seeing you exchange insults.
Eamonn Holmes replied, “I think I have a lot more insight than you, Lorraine.”
Others joined the thread and one user said: “@eamonnholmes sour grapes after they dumped you I guess! I can’t help it, it’s sad!”
However, others wished him well on his journey, saying: “Have a fantastic time and safe travels @eamonnholmes, you are a legend telling the truth. I would love to see you and @ruthlangsford back on the sofa❤️❤️”
Another congratulated the former ITV broadcaster on speaking his mind, adding: “Looks great @eamonnholmes and I love the way you are voicing your opinions.”

Eamonn Holmes launches attack on This Morning stars by branding Philip Schofield an ‘actor’
Eamonn Holmes let loose on his GB News show on Monday when he said: “I think there should have been a special award for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for Best Actor.”
The channel then went on to explain how the show would go on without her, adding, “Maybe they’re on TV today, maybe they’re not.” Audiences will surely suspect that the chemistry isn’t there, that the two aren’t a good fit and that “This Morning” does not depend on who presents it.
“It’s an institution, it will continue to exist no matter who presents it, and anyone can check the ratings, it makes no difference whether they present it or someone else.”
