Eamonn Holmes hits out at ‘ITV lies’ over This Morning exit

Eamonn Holmes claims ITV ‘told lies’ about his departure from This Morning, according to a tabloid interview.

Presenter Eamonn, 62, co-hosted the daytime series on Fridays for fifteen years with his wife Ruth Langsford.

However, last year Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary entered the slot. And in December 2021, Eamonn confirmed he would be joining GB News.

Now the veteran host has blasted executives for reportedly not being open with him about his departure.

And he insisted ITV “left” him and not the other way around.

Is Eamonn still watching?

Eamonn didn’t rule out a return to ITV – but did suggest staffing changes might need to be made first.

And it seems he doesn’t watch his old show anymore either. He added that he’s asked every day why he’s not on the show.

Eamonn mused, “That would be too… touchy. I mean, I spend every day going out on the street and people are like, ‘Why aren’t you and Ruth together anymore?'”
