EastEnders star Danielle Harold in talks for ITV I’m A Celeb
Danielle Harold, 31, has reportedly been “in demand” since she left the BBC soap opera earlier this year after playing Lola Pearce-Brown for 11 years.
Her character left Albert Square in an emotional storyline that saw her die after battling brain cancer.
Now the producers of hit ITV reality series ‘I’m A Celebrity’ believe she would be the ‘ideal flatmate’ for the upcoming new series.

EastEnders star ‘at the peak of her career’ amid talks about new series of I’m A Celeb
A source told the sun on Sunday Newspaper: “Danielle is in high demand at the height of her career and following her touching story at EastEnders, but she really caught the attention of ITV bosses when she appeared in upcoming series ‘The Jungle’.
“Daniele is not only a talented actress with a huge following, but also has a fun personality with a wicked sense of humor, making her the ideal roommate for the show.
“It could make her a superstar at an exciting time in her acting career.
“Discussions are underway and producers are trying to lure her with a lucrative deal.”
A spokesman for the show declined to confirm the rumour, with the ITV representative saying: “Any proposed names for I’m A Celebrity are speculation.”
The speculation comes as rumor has it fellow soapmaker Alan Halsall – who has played Tyrone Dobbs on Coronation Street for 25 years – is also set to compete in the jungle competition.
An insider said in July: “Tyrone is one of Corrie’s most popular characters, so Alan has a ready-made fanbase.
Ed Sheeran has rescheduled the Las Vegas concert hours ahead of his scheduled stage date
“Sometimes soap actors known for their iconic roles don’t quite translate once at camp — Adam Woodyatt is a recent example.
But Alan is a top lad with lots of personality so ITV is delighted that he is in talks to join the cast for 2023.”
Former Big Brother winner Josie Gibson, who is now a presenter on This Morning, is said to have been offered a six-figure sum to take part.
A source recently said: “Josie is extremely popular with This Morning viewers and the producers were determined to bring her on.”
“She’s seen as the perfect person for the jungle as she’s already such a familiar face on ITV and will bring her fan base with her.”
“She is incredibly down-to-earth and seems to strike a chord with people at home. Plus, they’re confident that Josie will bring laughs to I’m A Celebrity like she does on This Morning, and she is guaranteed to get along with most of the jungle housemates.
