Eberechi Eze reacts to Liverpool transfer rumors as Crystal Palace star revels in ‘in the form of his life’

Berechi Eze has denied rumors linking him with a move from Crystal Palace in the summer, where he believes he is in the form of his life.
Eze has been in brilliant form since Roy Hodgson’s return as Palace manager. In his last eight games he has scored six goals and set up another.
The uncapped Englishman is back on Gareth Southgate’s radar and despite having two years left on his contract, media reports have named Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle and even Paris Saint-Germain as potential buyers.
When asked if he was playing the best football of his career, Eze said: “Yeah, probably. I feel like I have the freedom to play and do my thing. I’m just happy to enjoy my football.”
Responding to rumors linking him with a move, he added: “It doesn’t really bother me. I only focus on the present.
“I want to keep enjoying it and contribute as much as possible to the team. I’m improving with every game.”
Eze, 24, dropped out of Palace’s starting XI towards the end of Patrick Vieira’s reign. At the time of the Frenchman’s sacking, he had scored just four goals in 27 league games.
“I found it difficult at times,” he admitted.
“We’ve been through a difficult time as a team, so it’s normal that we lack confidence. Since Roy has been here, I’ve had the freedom to express myself. I’ve played for him before, of course, so I understand exactly what he wants. That helped.”
