Ella Henderson and Sam Ryder, among others, have been announced for the balloon festival

The event will take place over the bank holiday weekend of August 25-28 at the new venue in the grounds of Castle Howard.

Singer-songwriter Ella Henderson, Top Loader and Blue have been added to the star-studded line-up, which includes Sister Sledge, Sam Ryder, Rak-Su and Symphonic Ibiza.

The fun family event will also feature dance music performances by Andy & the Odd Socks from the CBBC hit show Andy and the Band, YolanDa’s Band Jam, Dick and Dom and the raver Tots Big Top.

There will also be a meet and greet with TV characters such as Paw Patrol’s Bluey, Chase and Marshall, and activities for children of all ages including two craft tents with a range of fun and creative workshops such as ‘Pimp my Cookie’ and a ‘Story Corner’. ‘.

The Fiesta will feature hot air balloons from across Europe, including a range of new character balloons that will feature in the mass balloon launches each morning and evening, as well as the spectacular nightly light shows that will brighten up the evenings (weather permitting).

Additional program features include meet and greet with balloon pilots, balloon tying, arena entertainment including daredevil stunt shows, large family amusement park, food and drink village and walkthrough entertainment, and the spectacular finale of Monday night’s fiesta. With more acts yet to be announced, the full lineup will be released just ahead of the fiesta.

For the first time this year’s Fiesta will also offer camping, allowing visitors to stay for the weekend or come for a day.
