If the new Twitter changes looked wrong, it would never happen again. Exceptions that ban apps that promote hate, bullying, explicit sexual content and other discriminatory postings could be problematic.

If it happens, Apple and Google could remove Twitter from their app stores, but CEO Elon Musk is willing to go so far as to create a new, competitive phone when it happens.

Another potential issue is how people make their in-app purchases, such as B. Twitter subscriptions being introduced. That’s because Apple and Google are putting pressure on the new $8 Twitter Blue subscription fee. Apple in particular has specific rules for digital content that can be purchased through the use of an in-app method called Apple, which the company calls directly on the user’s behalf.

A tweet in which Apple says the system Apple uses to buy apps creates a 30 percent tax on the internet.

Elon Musk and Twitter aren’t the only ones refusing to use Apple and Google in-app purchases. Microsoft, Meta, Epic Games, Spotify and others have publicized it through lobbying and legal action in Antiquity/Sicle notices.

This month, Musk emphasized that Twitter would increase its revenue from subscribed subscriptions while further promoting freedom of expression. A Prime subscription for the coveted verified account status on Twitter is one of the big moves Musk is taking, although implementation isn’t quite complete yet.

Elon Musk has been very visible lately with the controversial decisions made on Twitter since buying it. Quite a few of these concerns relate to the resilience of mass positions and the elimination of key personnel, as well as the restoration of former US President Donald Trump’s previously permanently suspended Twitter account.
