Erling Haaland reacts after scoring five past RB Leipzig

Erling Haaland explained that his “super strength” is scoring goals after becoming just the third player to score five in a Champions League game.
And the Norwegian said he told Pep Guardiola he wanted to score a double hat-trick before the Manchester City manager saw him off after 63 minutes after the 7-0 win over RB Leipzig.
Haaland broke a 94-year-old City Club record by scoring 39 goals in a season, surpassing Tommy Johnson’s 38, and joined Luiz Adriano and Lionel Messi as the only footballer to score five in a Champions League game .
And he said, “It’s a big night. First of all I’m proud to play in this competition, I love it. Five goals. winning 7-0 is unbelievable.
“My super strength is scoring goals. Should I be honest? I wouldn’t have thought that many goals today. I was just trying to get it to the back of the net. A lot of that is being quick in the head and trying to place it where the goalie isn’t.
Haaland, who scored his fifth hat-trick for City and became the youngest player to score 30 Champions League goals, had been hoping to move on and get more. He added: “I told him [Guardiola] I would like to score a double hat trick, but what can I do?
Leipzig’s manager Marco Rose, who worked with Haaland at Borussia Dortmund last season, found it a special evening for the striker.
He said: “He had a great night. He was so hungry and he was scoring goals with his foot, he was scoring goals with his head, he was winning second balls, he was making deep runs. It looked really easy tonight. He took the ball from the referee. That means it was a special night for him in terms of goals and I congratulate him.”
