Eva Green ‘humiliated’ after private messages read out in court

Eve Green feels humiliated.

The 42-year-old actor, best known for roles in films such as Casino royale and dime novelappeared in the High Court in London, England on Tuesday (January 31).

She appeared on the witness stand in her lawsuit against White Lantern (Britannica) Ltd. regarding a movie named A patriotin which she was supposed to appear as a soldier before the project collapsed in 2019 due to financial reasons.

White Lantern and financial firm Sherborne Media Finance are defending themselves and are suing the actress for “conspiracy, fraud and unlawful interference.”

“I didn’t expect my WhatsApp messages to be released in court. It’s very humbling,” she said during cross-examination.

She repeatedly described a “chaotic” atmosphere, lamenting a lack of crew, stunt training and even empty production offices at the Black Hanger where the film was set to be shot.

“It was like an imaginary movie,” she explained.

“I’ve been through it and I don’t really understand it. I’m still confused by this cuckoo situation.”
