Today’s episode of Associate Attorney Woo feels a bit lighter than some of the last few, like it’s going off the gas a bit. Normally that would be a criticism, but “Mr. Salt, Ms. Pepper and Attorney Soy Sauce fills in the gaps left by a less intense case than usual with subtle character development and charming romance. If anything, it feels like the case involving a poverty-stricken man named Il-su, who gets ripped off for a lottery at a gambling den, gets in the way of the good stuff.

Summary of Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 1 Episode 11

Unsurprisingly, gambling dens aren’t exactly prime real estate for conclusive court judgments, and handshake deals aren’t necessarily binding. Guys who go to places like this don’t make reliable witnesses. And so on. You see the difficulty of arguing this in court.

And it’s even harder for Young-woo as Jun-ho keeps popping into her mind. They watch each other from their offices; Touch hands through glass. It’s a beautiful way the love story unfolds on the edge of the current case.

And the current case is by no means a love story, as we discover when Il-su wins his case and immediately seeks a divorce from his wife in favor of his mistress, Choi Da-Hye, aka Coffee House from the gambling den. Our lawyers are willing and able to help negotiate a fair division of assets, including winning the lottery, but it turns out they don’t have to as Il-su is hit by a truck and killed in a road accident, what means he owns his property automatically goes to his next of kin.

Jun-ho is there for Young-woo after that, and it seems like he will have to be there for her in the future as well, as an epilogue shows Min-woo trying to negotiate a move to Taesan by Young-woo becomes at the request of Su-mi expelled from Hanbada.
