Fans Demand Jail Time For Logan Paul As YouTuber Admits CryptoZoo Project Failed

Logan Paul has recently been linked to another failed crypto project, CryptoZoo, which was supposed to be a play-and-earn game. However, for more than a year since its launch, the CryptoZoo website has said that “upgrades are in progress”.

Cryptocurrency fraud investigator Stephen Findeisen, known as Coffeezilla on YouTube, recently called the entire project a scam. ‘The Maverick’ initially released a rebuttal, accusing Findeisen of using his name for clout and threatening to sue him.

However, Coffeezilla later claimed that Paul called him to let him know he was dropping legal threats. Findeisen also shared a screenshot of The Maverick’s response on CryptoZoo’s Discord server. Paul wrote:

“I deleted my initial reaction to Coffee’s series. It was rash and out of touch with the real issue, so I called him today and apologized…I’m grateful he brought this up. I will take responsibility, apologize and come up with a plan in the near future.” h/t

MMA Twitter has hit Logan Paul hard, with some fans even calling for the YouTuber to go to jail. @DaStigg wrote:

“@LoganPaul needs to be put in jail right next to Sam Bankman-Fried”

@BBCWorld Can we just cancel this scammer already

@BBCWorld After being debunked, after denying knowing anything, after trying to make fun of the person who debunked it, after reading all of his viewers (not fans) comments, can he please shut up now disappear.

@BBCWorld Hoping that Logan Paul faces bankruptcy

Others simply refused to believe that Logan had sincerely apologized to Paul.

@BBCWorld Tell me you haven’t seen the video without telling me you haven’t seen the video. “excuse me”? When?

@BBCWorld It was a scam, not a “project bug”

CryptoZoo investor interjects Logan Paul

Logan Paul’s CryptoZoo initially sold images of cartoon eggs as NFTs, which could then allegedly be hatched into random animal images. Collectors could then breed their animals and earn coins in a linked cryptocurrency called $ZOO.

However, Paul, who had previously been linked to another failed cryptocurrency, suddenly stopped talking about the project after selling a sizeable sum of NFTs and cryptocoins. An unnamed CryptoZoo investor recently listed his demands on “The Maverick.” The 34-year-old American wants the YouTube star to keep his initial promises instead of giving out refunds. He said in an interview with BBC:

“At first we all thought the project was going to have a few hiccups – but then the way Logan dragged everyone along and then just gave it up without a word is just wrong. Now it seems to me that Logan is only now trying to make amends after the Coffeezilla videos. I don’t want a refund – I want to see the project complete and Logan do what he said at the very beginning. I don’t think it will ever be as big as it could have been – but I do think it’s important that ‘founders’ deliver on what they promised investors.”

@MxCJimmy All cryptos will eventually fail and become a “scam”. Logan Paul isn’t experienced at this, so it’s no surprise that his Dink Doink currency failed and, inevitably, Cryptozoo did too.
