Fantasy Premier League Tips: Who to buy with your free hit chip for FPL game week 28 today
Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Brighton are among the teams to miss the FA Cup quarter-finals, creating a dilemma in the FPL.
Many will be playing their free hit chip at this point, with the FPL GW28 deadline set at 6.30pm on Friday. Here are our tips:
Ollie Watkins – Aston Villa – £7.4m
After his streak of goals in five straight games ended, Watkins was back on his feet with a goal against West Ham last weekend. Next up are Bournemouth, the side with the worst away defense in the league.
Philip Billing – Bournemouth – £5.1m
There is every reason to expect there to be goals in Bournemouth’s trip at Villa Park, where the hosts have the second-worst home defense record. With six goals and a tiny possession, Billing is in good standing, having scored in the Cherries’ last two games.
Miguel Almiron – Newcastle – £5.4m
Confidence in the Toon winger understandably slumped during a one-goal run in eight games but his winner off the bench last week will surely earn him a reprieve on Friday night against Nottingham Forest.
Ben Chilwell – Chelsea – £5.9m
Everton travel to Stamford Bridge after failing to score in five of their last six trips to the Blues’ homeland, where Chelsea’s defense are enjoying decent form. Chilwell has one goal, one assist, one bonus point and one clean sheet in his last three games.
Gabriel Jesus – Arsenal – £7.9m
The former FPL shoo-in is back on our radar after returning from a knee injury and bolder managers will bring him up for Sunday’s game against Crystal Palace. The questions are mainly whether Mikel Arteta Jesus will start and whether he can take off.
