Fast Ten Ending Explained (In Detail)

Dominic Toretto and his gang from Family Is What You Make It Return Fast ten, and they are about to pay for their past transgressions. This time, Cipher shows up later in the evening after twenty years of congregating at the same picnic table. She narrowly escaped certain death at the hands of Dante Reyes, the son of the former Portuguese king, who was killed years ago during Fast five.

Her message to Dom is that Dante is going to get him, and she tells Dom because her enemy’s enemy is his enemy. Translation – warn Dom so he can kill Dante before tracking Cipher again.

The film begins with a flashback Fast five when Dom and Brian stole the bank vault containing Dante’s father’s fortune. Now Dante is present at the heist and pursues the duo along with his father. In this version, the film reveals scenes that were not known to the fans.

Dante is thrown off the freeway and thrown into the water while his father Hernan is killed. Dante seeks revenge on Dom, his entire family, friends and everyone who helped him.

Why did Jacob have to die?

Jacob dies sacrificing himself to help Dom save his son, Brian Marcos. During the film, Dante snatches Brian out of Jacob’s car during a high-speed chase. With Jacob in his car with a leaking fuel line and Dom about to be stopped by vehicles equipped with military artillery, Jacob decides to crash his car into Dante’s paid mercenaries.

We assume Jacob is dead because they all explode into fireballs as he collides with the vehicles. This allows Dom to track Dante and save his son’s life.

Were any main characters killed? Fast ten?

While no official death statements are issued, we believe Jacob, Roman, Tej, Ramsey, and Han were also killed in addition to Jacob. Aimes fires a missile at the plane while flying in to help rescue Dom and Brian, resulting in one of its engines being destroyed. Her last sighting comes as the plane crashes into a mountain a few miles away.

However, the Fast & Furious The franchise has yet to officially confirm the death of anyone. (Seriously, can someone please bring Chad Lindberg back?). This lack of certainty is unfortunate, especially considering that someone close to Han rises from the dead at the end of the film.

Aimes betrays Dominic when we learn that the agency’s new head has been in Dante’s family’s pocket ever since Fast five. Aimes should find a place for the plane to land and help save Dom and his son.

However, after Aimes fires the hand rocket, it is revealed that he was there with Dante when Dom and Brian stole Hernan’s vault full of money. As he tells Dom over the radio, “Not everyone becomes family.”

Does Fast Ten end on a cliffhanger?

Yes, Fast ten ends with a cliffhanger. The final scenes show Dom and Brian standing at the bottom of a ravine, surviving an explosion that catapulted their car into the concrete embankment. Both Dom and Brian survive and are safe. Dom hugs his son and comforts him.

However, Dante strategically placed gigantic bombs on either side of the dam, demonstrating his thorough planning. He activates the bombs and we see Dom turn to grab his son. The sound of the exploding bombs and the rushing of the water can be heard, but then the screen cuts off for the end credits.

Does Fast Ten have a post-credits scene?

Yes, Fast ten includes a post-credits scene and reveals the return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Luke Hobbs. In the scene, the former agent of the Diplomatic Security Service is raiding a theater and a cell phone rings. The agent’s face is hidden, but he answers the phone and Dante is on the other end. Dante says to the agent, “Dom was driving the car, but you pulled the trigger.”

At that moment, the agent removes his helmet, revealing the return of Luke Hobbs Fast & Furious Franchise. Hobbs replies, “I’m not hard to find, bastard.” As a reminder, Hobbs ended up shooting Dante’s father, Hernan Fast five.
