Fire at a house in Osbaldwick, York, is under investigation
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 11.48am today (September 4) following reports of a fire at a house in Osbaldwick.
A spokesman for the service said: “Crews from York and Acomb responded to reports of a house fire.”
“On arrival, crews extinguished a fire that had spread from an external container to the hedge and facade of the building.
“They used two breathing apparatus sets, a hose reel nozzle, a thermal imaging camera, small tools and a triple extension ladder. The cause is still under investigation.”
