Police are searching for four suspects after a retail store was robbed in Mississauga.

According to Peel Regional Police, four suspects broke into a business in the area of Lakeshore Road on November 17 around 5 p.m. and Hurontario St. and stole several items.

Police said the suspects fled the store, no one was physically injured and there were no arrests.

Meanwhile, police said they were aware of a video circulating on social media showing four masked people entering a store around 5 p.m. on November 17 and taking armfuls of clothing.
The video shows the robbers discovering that they are being locked in by an employee who initially tried to stop them from entering before going outside. One of the suspects smashes the window with an ax and they leave the store, but one briefly returns to retrieve more clothing on the floor.
Police said it was not immediately known whether the video and the robbery were related, but they were investigating.
