France vs Wales TV channels, kick-off time and how to watch the Six Nations game

The winner of the Six Nations title could still be determined in France’s home game against Wales today.

Fabien Galthie’s side play ahead of Ireland, who win the Grand Slam if they beat England in Dublin. However, if they lose later in the day, Les Bleus could become champions.

The following permutations are based on Ireland losing to England without securing a loss bonus point. If France defeats Wales without a bonus point awarded to a team for four tries or more, they must win the game by 21 points to win the title (based on current points difference). However, if Les Bleus won by a four-try bonus point, the trophy would be theirs.

If Ireland lose to England but claim a lost bonus point (for a loss by seven points or less), France must beat Wales by a bonus point and win by 21 points (based on current points difference) to take the title away from Andy Farrell’s men. Here’s everything you need to know about the fortification.

When is France vs Wales and what TV channel is it on?

The game will kick off at 2.45pm BST on Saturday 18th March. It will be shown on ITV 1 and streamed on ITVX.

What’s new from the team?

France have made two changes to their starting XI, with Uini Atonio back in the squad after his suspension. He was sidelined for two games after suffering a high tackle in their match against Ireland earlier in the tournament. The other change comes with Romain Taofifenua replacing Paul Willemse on the second row.

Bastien Chalureau will try to make his first appearance of the tournament from the bench.

Wales, meanwhile, have made six changes to their starting XI. Louis Rees-Zammit starts at full-back for the injured Liam Williams, there’s a new center partnership in George North and Nick Tompkins and Dan Biggar get the keys back in 10th place.

For forwards, Alun Wyn Jones and Aaron Wainwright come in the second and back rows respectively. And No 8 Taulupe Faletau will win his 100th cap for Wales.
