Fulham open contract talks with Harrison Reed after Wolves’ transfer offer was rejected

Wolves made a £3 million offer to sign the England midfielder last week before the summer transfer window closed, but that offer was well below Fulham’s asking price and was promptly rejected.
Reed, 28, was open to the move to Molineux but would also be interested in staying at Craven Cottage if he was offered improved conditions.
The £6million new signing from Southampton – who also has interest from Everton – retains the same £30,000-a-week contract he signed after joining the club permanently in the summer of 2020 following a productive loan spell in west London.

Reed has appeared in 150 games for the Cottagers in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing 11 assists.
He has featured in all five of Fulham’s games so far this season, starting four times and coming on as a substitute in the west London derby against Brentford.
