Lineker has since received a spate of support and it appears he could be hired for multiple job opportunities as well.

BT Sport is interested in becoming TNT Sports as part of their planned summer makeover, the Daily Mail.

The channel has been bought by Warner Brothers Discovery and they are reportedly planning to expand their football coverage.

And they are aiming for Lineker to become the face of their new venture, which will include Premier League and Champions League coverage.

BT Sport will retain the rights to these competitions for a further two and four years respectively.

They are also believed to be in the market for EFL rights, which are currently held by Sky Sports.
