Gogglebox: Dave the dog’s funniest moments as Malone’s pay tribute to him
The Malone family from Manchester regularly appear on the show, discussing the week’s TV programs while watching, usually in the company of their furry friends.
But this week the Malones announced that Dave, one of their Rottweilers, had passed away.
With a video of Dave, the family posted a touching tribute on Instagram, saying: “RIP Dave xxx There are no words to describe you or how much you meant to us. That was you on Sunday waiting for your dad to come back and he just went out to the car x
“We will all miss you so much”

Dave is playing hide and seek
Dave was once lying on the sofa with the Malones and appeared to be playing hide-and-seek.
The family joked that Dave thought they couldn’t see him if he had his eyes closed and couldn’t see the family.
When Tom Malone started saying, “Where is David?” Where is he?” Dave jumped up from the sofa as if to say, “Here I am.”
Dave jumps on Tom while the family practices whistling
While watching a program, the family tries to whistle, and when Tom put his fingers in his mouth to whistle, Dave and the other family dogs rushed towards Tom, with Dave landing on him and making a fuss.
Dave helps himself to the bowl of cake
Often the family would leave a bowl of snacks next to the sofa while they were watching TV and while they were out of the room Dave decided to try his luck at snagging some cakes and he succeeded.
Dave and the bubble machine
The family gave Dave 30 seconds to try to pop as many bubbles out of the machine as possible.
He excitedly jumped towards the bubbles and caught a total of nine in the time frame.

While watching a show, Dave ran to the television to bark at the show and bumped into the footstool.
Dave watches Snake on TV
In another clip, Dave is seen watching a snake move through grass on television.
He decides to follow her with his eyes, and Tom Malone jokes that he has to go “around the TV” as the line moves on.
Dave knocks over a drink
In his excitement, Dave managed to knock over a drink and Julie Malone suggested using her son’s t-shirt to clean up.
Her son says she can’t use this because he will wear it later.
Dave helps Tom with training
Tom holds one end of Dave’s toy while Dave has the other end in his mouth as Tom begins to pull lightly.
Dave’s head moves up and down like he’s doing reps in a workout.
