Grantley Hall in Ripon has been named the best indoor hall in Europe by Conde Nast
With 47 rooms, five restaurants and an extensive garden area among other things, it’s no surprise that Grantley Hall in Ripon has been awarded a place in the exclusive Conde Nast list as the best country hotel in the UK, alongside several top spots in Europe.
Despite the venue’s historic façade, Grantley Hall has been modernized through the Sykes family’s restoration project, which includes Pan-Asian Bar & Restaurant EightyEight, Norton Bar or Valeria’s late-night champagne and cocktail bar.

The addition of Grantley Hall to the list joins the Cary Arms & Spa in Devon and the Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa in Wiltshire, as well as luxury venues in London including The Swan at Streatley and The Guardsman.
Elsewhere, locations in Sicily, Palma, Tuscany and Lisbon have been included – making Grantley’s inclusion a greater achievement.
