Grizzly Bear Hops On Car At Yellowstone National Park, Mom Gives Child World’s Dumbest Assurance

Okay, so at this point we understand that a lot of people visiting United States national parks aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed.

Does it come insanely close? Feed grizzly bear or rut bull mooseit seems people just can’t grasp that it’s not a zoo and these are wild animals that won’t hesitate to kill you.

The most recent example of this insanity is a family that drove through Yellowstone National Park, and despite being told not to stop the car by park rangers, they did just that.

The next thing you know, they have a killing machine on them, separated only by a pane of glass and the cheap metal your roof is made of.

To add to the madness of the encounter, the mother repeatedly tells the child, who is rightly crying and frightened…

“They can’t hurt us, they’re just curious”

I’m here to tell you that they CAN ABSOLUTELY HURT YOU.

They are literally designed to deal lethal damage to 1,500-pound moose. Do you think your non-athletic body can take it?

Luckily, they escaped unscathed with a crazy story to tell their friends, but I just can’t get over this lady.

Kid, if you’re an adult and reading this in any way, please understand that grizzly bears can and 100% will hurt you.

Gosh, these people cheer me on.

Bison headbutts child in face at New York City Zoo

We all know that Yellowstone National Park has recently been home to a number of unfortunate bison encounters.

We’ve seen two people gored in less than a week and another man thrown over a railing.

It’s not just about that though yellowstone… a bison will ram you almost anywhere. Even in a New York zoo.

The Wild Animal Park in Chittenango, New York offers a drive-thru safari where people can experience the wonders of nature in the comfort and safety of their own vehicle.

Well I guess no security…

According to the Toronto Sun, this video was captured at The Wild Safari Drive Thru portion of the park as a bison approaches the car in front of our videographer.

With two young children hanging out the window, the bison closes in, sniffs and viciously headbutts the children. Their heads bounce off the top of the window frame and they sink back into the car.

Needless to say, the person filming quickly rolls up their windows.

The park commented on the matter, saying visitors are specifically encouraged to remain in their vehicles at all times, and that includes hanging out of windows. They also added that the children in the video were not hurt.

Damn, looked like one hell of a headbutt in the face for this boy to escape unharmed… but luckily he did.

I mean, can you imagine getting a headbutt from someone with a head that weighs a few hundred pounds? Not on my to-do list…

According to The Wild Safari’s website, the animal park functions as both a zoo and a drive-through animal safari, and you can even plan personal animal experiences:

“Located on over 100 acres north of the village of Chittenango, New York, The Wild Drive Thru is a drive-through safari that offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience a variety of animals in the comfort of their own vehicle or in one of ours Guided tour on THE BEAST.

With a large variety of domestic and exotic animals from all over the world on multiple pastures, it’s a great place for adventure, learning and hours of family fun! You have a choice of The Wild Drive Thru, The Wild Animal Park, or both.”

This particular bison has reportedly been removed from the exhibit. Grizzly Bear Hops On Car At Yellowstone National Park, Mom Gives Child World’s Dumbest Assurance
