Harry and Meghan news: Prince Harry’s children have not yet been invited to Charles’s coronation

Will Harry and Meghan Attend King Charles’ Coronation?

According to media reports, Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie and Lilibet, have not yet been invited to King Charles’ coronation in May.

The Telegraph on Saturday (February 11) reported that Archie and Lilibet’s attendance will be discussed after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed their own attendance at the royal ceremony.

Questions about whether the couple will attend the King and Queen Consort’s coronation still hang over the occasion.

A spokesman for Harry and Meghan said: The times that they have received “email correspondence” about the coronation, but no decision has been announced as to whether or not to accept the invitation.

In the meantimeGood morning Britain Presenter Kate Garraway has pointed out a “factual inaccuracy” in Harry and Meghan’s statement announcing the christening of their daughter Lilibet last week.

The TV presenter said the bishop who christened the 21-month-old princess was not an archbishop, as confirmed by Prince Harry and Meghan’s spokesman.

On the occasion of his 59th birthday on Friday (10 March), Prince Edward was proclaimed the new Duke of Edinburgh, taking over his late father’s title. His wife Sophie is now the Duchess of Edinburgh and their son James is the new Earl of Wessex.

Buckingham Palace has officially updated the Royal Family’s website to reflect the new titles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s children.
