Navy veteran Eddie Browning and his wife, Cindy Browning, were going through a tough time, their home, an RV, was in ruins and they didn’t have enough money to make repairs.
It was the middle of winter and the couple was basically exposed to the frigid winter temperatures.
Then the students at Elm Street Elementary in Rome, Georgia stepped in and built a tiny house for them!
The students encountered some obstacles in their project.
But the organizers of the Georgia Tiny House Festival at Ooh La La Lavender Farms have teamed up with the kids to finish the house!
The original design the students envisioned was to be four feet by eight feet, but there would be no plumbing or electricity.

Word spread about this wonderful project and soon donors, sponsors and volunteers were helping to make the house a little bigger and full of amenities!
