Heartstopper Series 2: What to Expect When Netflix Fans Tease

A series of images, including some familiar faces, were released on Netflix’s Twitter account. The eager viewers were given a taste of what to expect in the new series.

The next release of one of Netflix’s most popular series is just a few months away as reports say we’ll be seeing Joe Locke and Kit Connor return to our screens as Charlie and Nick this summer.

What is Heartstopper on Netflix about?

Joe and Kit became an overnight success as the nation fell in love with their characters’ storylines.

“Teenage boys Charlie and Nick discover their unlikely friendship could be something more as they grapple with school and young love in this coming-of-age series,” it reads IMDB.

Heartstopper season 2 synopsis reads: “Nick and Charlie cope with their new relationship; Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges, and Tao and Elle consider if they can ever be more than friends.”

“With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom, the gang has to juggle a lot as they journey through the next stages of life, love and friendship.”

Netflix is ​​teasing fans with the second Heartstopper series

In one photo, Charlie and Nick are seen looking very much in love with each other during a school trip to Paris.

Another shows Tara and Darcy, played by Corinna Brown and Kizzy Edgell, lounging on a rooftop.

Tao and Elle, played by William Gao and Yasmin Finney, are seen in a separate photo at the cinema – it doesn’t get more romantic than that.

The bond between the two friends took shape in the finale of the first series.

Fans react to Heartstopper season 2 teasers

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “OMGOMGOMG SCREAM AT THEM ALL THEY LOOK SO CONFIDENT AND SWEET AND PERFECT AND I’M RUNNING DOWN WHAT TO SAY.”

While another posted: “Omg! My comfort people are coming back!”

A third report commented, saying, “All the couples are cute and gross and then there’s Isaac with the books (that’s me).”

Someone else explained their excitement, writing, “OMGGGGGGGG Season 2 is so close I can’t believe it.”
