Holly and Phil return to ITV this morning amid an alleged argument

Last week, reports said their relationship was strained after 14 years of appearing on the breakfast show together.

A source told The Sun that the two “hardly speak” outside of the show and have canceled their annual family vacation together.

But things were business as usual for Willoughby and Schofield on Monday’s ITV show This Morning as the two opened the show and joked together about Willoughby’s singing and his love of Disney musicals.

There was no sign of the alleged feud that has dogged the pair for the past week.

Schofield praises This Morning co-host Willougby as his ‘rock’

Over the weekend, Schofield hailed This Morning co-host Willoughby as his “rock” after reports the pair’s relationship was strained.

The presenter recently returned to the show after taking pre-arranged leave of absence for his brother’s sexual abuse trial at Exeter Crown Court last month.

The Sun previously reported that the absence has contributed to a “cooling” in their friendship.

But in a statement, Schofield, 61, said The sun: “Like I said, Holly is my rock.

“We’re best friends – as always, she’s been an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.”

“Holly has always been there for me through thick and thin. And I was there for her.

“The last few weeks have not been easy for any of us.”

This followed a citation The sun: “It’s become clear to those around her on set lately that Holly and Phil aren’t as close as they used to be.

“Professionally, you would have no idea something was going on because they behave the same way on camera.

“But behind the scenes, their relationship has cooled.

“Like any professional couple who have worked together for over a decade, Holly and Phil have gone through rough patches before. They used to always seem to keep going, but this time it seems different.”
