Host of ‘The View’ Sunny Hostin Has Beef with Tucker Carlson for ‘Doxing’ Her

oh brother

One of the worst traits of leftists is how they are quick to cling to a word or phrase and just misuse it until the word is forgotten and practically meaningless.

You’ve already seen that with words like racism and sexism.

Case in point: Sunny Hostin, co-host of The View, recently went on a podcast, Just Jenny, bemoaning how incredibly difficult her life is.

“I kind of outdid it [‘The View’ co-host Joy Behar] as a right-wing target on Fox News. Tucker Carlson decided to do some publicity about my home address. I have security now, I have all these things. They know I have goals and cameras and things like that,” Hostin said, without giving specific examples.

Well, that’s quite a claim.

First of all, doxing is no joke. For those unfamiliar, doxing is the practice of maliciously divulging highly personal and identifying information about the victim.

Second, if Tucker Carlson did indeed betray Hostin, he should be severely convicted and face legal action.

Only…there’s absolutely no evidence Carlson doxed anyone, let alone Hostin.

Is what Tucker Carlson did actually doxxing?

Some research by Breitbart revealed that Hostin appears to be talking about a year-and-a-half-year-old episode of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” which originally aired March 21, 2021.

In that episode, Carlson attacked Hostin after she claimed she “feels like a hostage” to law-abiding citizens who want to legally own firearms.

As part of Carlson’s rebuttal of Hostin’s self-centered claim, he showed a clip of the lavish 10-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion where Hostin resides to show the hypocrisy who claims to “feel like a hostage” — a doubly dubious claim that Hostin likely has armed security guards patrolling her palatial home.

It’s sad that this needs to be said at all, but showing publicly available clips of someone’s home is not “doxing”. It’s not even close. If so, MTV’s “Cribs” would no longer air.

Carlson did not reveal the city where Hostin’s house was located (Purchase, New York), the color of her blankets (mustard yellow), where in the house Hostin’s mother lives (the carriage house), or her family’s favorite gathering place (the “sprawling kitchen.” .”)

Do you want to know how I know these things even though Carlson won’t reveal them? Because Hostin willingly divulged all of that information in a self-aggrandizing pomp piece for People magazine in April 2018.

There’s even a video element of People’s peek inside Hostin’s house!

To be clear, if Hostin is harassed in any way in her home (no matter how obnoxious or racist she is), it is unacceptable and despicable.

But it’s just as unacceptable and despicable to accuse someone else of doxing when you have absolutely no evidence and you’re comfortable making your personal life as public as Hostin did with People.

Doxing is a real problem. All Hostin has done with these baseless allegations against Carlson is slowly begin to make that word meaningless.
