After a warm and often wet week, high temperatures are expected to continue into the weekend, the Met Office forecast.

Temperatures are expected to peak at 26°C at 2pm this afternoon, with clouds dropping to 23°C at 8pm.

This sunshine is expected to continue tomorrow (Sunday) as the Met Office predicts another bright day with maximum temperatures of 23°C, although some showers.

There will be highs of 27°C and lows of 17°C with the sun set at 19:38.

The meteorologist forecast: “Bright or sunny spells and mostly dry conditions, although some showers may develop this afternoon.”
