Huge change for George at a new school

Prince William and Duchess Kate are reportedly preparing to move to Berkshire this summer.

This means their children, including Prince George, could be moving to a brand new school.

Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte previously attended Thomas’s School in Battersea.

Prince Louis attended Willcocks Nursery School but it is believed he will join his siblings in September.

George, Charlotte and Louis are expected to attend Lambbrook School next September.

Lambrook School is only 15 minutes from her new home, which means the children will be close by.

However, one possible downside to the school is that the young royals have compulsory classes on a Saturday.

The prep school is very exclusive as it is both a day school and a boarding school so the children can stay overnight.

A source claimed to the Telegraph: “Even most local parents like the idea of their little ones being able to stay a night if needed.

“It means they can throw dinner parties and have a hangover without having to take the kids to school the next day.”

School fees are reported to be around £7,000 per child.

A Talk Education guide to the best private schools in the UK reported: “The school is anchored around an immaculate, magnificent white country house, with an on-site nursery and preparatory facilities.

“There’s a sense of delicious freedom and fresh air.”

Adelaide Cottage a ‘humble’ home for William and Kate

The cottage reportedly has four bedrooms and large, private gardens for the children to explore.

It was once the home of Peter Townsend, whom Princess Margaret once wanted to marry.

A source told Marie Clare: “Kate and William were desperate for a modest home to start their new life in Windsor.

“They insisted they didn’t want anything too flashy or something refurbishing or extra security.”
