said managing director Charlie Simpson-Daniel: “We are excited to launch our Wagyu burgers in Iceland in 1000 stores!

“It’s a major milestone for our company as we move forward and turn proteins that are new and unknown into products that add value to the categories enough to make them go to market, allowing them to have widespread distribution at large retailers.” make possible.”

“We have such a unique relationship with Iceland and are very blessed that they have such a positive attitude towards innovation.”

Commercial director James Simpson-Daniel said: “When I first tried Wagyu beef a few years ago, I immediately thought, ‘Why haven’t I had this before and how can I get more?'”

York Press:

“The taste is exquisite due to the high marbling of the meat. Since having Wagyu, I’ve had a really hard time going back to regular steak.

“Then the idea came up to give others the same enjoyment of Wagyu as we do. Hence the vision of “I Vow To Thee” began.

“We offer others the opportunity to enjoy Wagyu at affordable prices and are very excited to begin this journey now!”

The Simpon Daniel brothers recently signed another important deal with Iceland.

Sister company Lions Kingdom has also just started supplying Iceland with ostrich steaks and wild boar burgers.

York Press:

Earlier this year, Lions Kingdom also began delivering ostrich steaks and wild boar burgers to Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.

The brothers have other companies operating under The Heroes Journey.

There are also Japanese Wagyu steaks from the land of the samurai, Beaut-Tees and Wizard’s Magic Chocolate.

In early June, the brothers announced a six-figure financing package from HSBC to expand their global import capacity and broaden their product range.

This included tripling imports of ostrich, wild boar, antelope and Japanese Wagyu meat from partners in South Africa, Japan and Spain to sell the luxury meat products in UK supermarkets.

Due to this increased capacity, The Heroes Journey also expects to triple its revenue in the coming year.

The company’s head office is in Northminster Business Park, Upper Poppleton, with multiple manufacturing facilities throughout North Yorkshire.
