If You’ve Ever Wanted To Live In A Guitar-Shaped House, One Just Hit The Market In Georgia

You may think you are a country, but you are This Country?

According to 11Alive, a recent feature on the Fayetteville, Georgia housing market, this guitar-shaped 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home is featured.

The real estate agent for the new property said the house was recently renovated and they are looking for one “true connoisseur” to make the purchase.

And by true connoisseur, she must mean someone who earns decent dividends from their guitar hobby, because the house is listed for a whopping $789,000.

According to the listing agent, the home was designed by country singer Elvis Carden, who must have been so inspired by the architecture that he wrote a song called “Living In An Old Guitar.”

The sad melody contains the lyrics:

I live in an old guitar
A six string is my home
Darling I hate to hurt you
Of the things I do wrong
broken dreams and promises
And time away from home
Just so I can play you your favorite country song…”

And while Carden’s song appeared to be a metaphor for life in the midst of the music journey, you can actually experience “life in an old guitar,” and that’s for an inflationary price of just under $800,000.
