I’m a celebrity legend. Myleene Klass appears on This Morning
Klass was named the first Legend ahead of Phil Tufnell, Jordan Banjo and Fatima Whitbread in the finals of I’m a Celebrity…South Africa on Friday May 12th.
Speaking with This Morning co-hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about her time on the show, she went into detail about her recent trial, how much she missed her family and how she keeps in touch with her fellow campers after she is no longer in the jungle.
Myleene Klass talks about her time on I’m a Celeb…South Africa on This Morning
Willoughby initially said, “You were amazing, well done,” before she, Schofield and Klass enjoyed a celebratory shot of water.
Willoughby and Schofield asked how different this time was as they watched the show in person and the show wasn’t broadcast live.
Klass said, “It’s still really weird to look at because you’ve experienced it.”
Discussing the “brutal” final challenge, Klass described breaking her braces after a piece of a mouse’s tail got caught behind them.
She said: “Ant and Dec kept asking me how it tasted. When I was at school, a mouse died behind a radiator and the smell it gave off tasted a bit like that.”
She added that the fermented tofu tasted just like she imagined “garbage juice.”

Willoughby and Schofield asked how she overcame such challenges.
Klass said: “I believe that in many things reason prevails over matter.”
“If you let your mind wander elsewhere, you’ve already lost.”
Since leaving South Africa, Klass said she has kept in touch with many of her fellow residents.
She has a WhatsApp group with Janice Dickinson and gets postcards from Paul Burrell.
I describe one of the most difficult aspects of appearing on I’m A Celebrity: South Africa was separated from her family for so long.
Klass said, “You don’t realize how isolating that is.”
“You have complete radio silence. You don’t know if your kids have their gym gear in the morning or if they’re really fine.”
But she said it was her daughter’s idea to take part in the show.
She ended the This Morning interview by addressing the rumors that she would become an MP.
Klass said they came about because she is currently trying to change a bill to help women treat miscarriages.
Myleene Klass wins I’m a Celeb South Africa.
Klass and Banjo were the final two housemates and, in front of the rest of the former cast, competed in a challenging nine-round food test to be crowned the first I’m a Celeb “Legend.”
They both had to write down how much of each food they would eat before settling on a five-minute time limit for each round.

During part of the experiment, Myleene decided to eat 60 mouse tails in two minutes.
Klass won the challenge and was crowned the first I’m a Celebrity Legend.
She said: “I feel so lucky. To be honest, it was really hard to separate from the family… I’m a mom but that gives you a super power because you have three little pairs of eyes watching you.”
