I’m a flight attendant and trolls think I’m just serving tea, but we have MUCH more responsibility than you think

A flight attendant has fought back trolls who believe her job is just to serve tea and coffee to passengers.

Obviously tired of hearing this cliche, Kiko shot a short video of herself on a plane opening the plane door.

Wearing black tights with a red jacket over them, she could be seen pushing open the heavy door before stepping outside and smiling back at the camera.

On this TikTok, she wrote: “POV: People think flight attendants only serve tea and coffee, but what they don’t know…

“We are responsible for 239 souls, we are even trained to give birth to a baby”, [sic] followed by a red heart emoji and an airplane emoji.

In the caption, @itsmekikooooo added that she “loves” her job.

People were quick to praise the TikTok user and couldn’t help but gush about how important a flight attendant’s job really is.

“Flight attendants risk their lives in the air to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying the flight!

“And they are the first person to help you if anything ever happens to the flight! Respect”, [sic] one person wrote.

Another said: “People seriously don’t give flight attendants the credit they deserve.”

A third shared: “I was also surprised when my daughter started her flight attendant training.”

While a fourth added: “Anyone who thinks you’re just serving coffee needs enlightenment”.
