Toronto police have released images of a stolen vehicle linked to a shooting last month near the Distillery District that left a child and two adults injured in a parking garage.

Police responded to a shooting in the Esplanade-Princess St. area on Aug. 12 around 6 p.m. after a vehicle pulled into an underground parking garage and someone fired a gun multiple times, hitting two adults and a child.

Inspector Lori Kranenburg said at the time that two of the victims, a man in his 50s and another man in his 80s, were in serious but not life-threatening condition. The other victim, a child under five years old, had superficial injuries.

Police declined to describe the relationship between the men and the child.

The suspect vehicle, a gray 2019 Honda Civic, fled the scene and was recovered on August 14. It was reported stolen in Brampton on July 11 and some time later the rear spoiler was removed with the mounting screws still visible.

No descriptions of the suspects were available, police said.
