Coco Gauff vs Aryna Sabalenka Prediction
This is the fifth clash between Gauff and Sabalenka and their first clash of 2023. Gauff currently leads 3-1. Gauff won his most recent competition, which came at the National Bank Open last summer, and is 2-0 on outdoor hard courts.
Both players made it through the first two rounds of the tournament with ease and saw themselves put to the test in the round of 16. Gauff faced off against Rebecca Peterson and the match had to go the distance for the American to secure the win. In the end, Gauff won 6: 3, 1: 6, 6: 4.

Sabalenka also found herself capable of needing the full three sets to secure her spot in the semifinals. She defeated Barbora Krejcikova 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.
This will be an interesting match to watch. Although Gauff keeps the winning record against Sabalenka, the Belruserin is currently playing her best tennis. The 24-year-old won the Aussie Open earlier this year and holds second place in the world.
The reality is that any player could win here, it will just be a question of who can handle the conditions best and come out of goal strong. Look for the matchstick to go the distance.
Best Bet: Over 2.5 sets (+118)

Maria Sakkari vs Petra Kvitova Indian Wells Quarterfinals Odds
player | spread | money line | In total |
---|---|---|---|
[7] Maria Sakkari | -2.5 (-112) | -162 | Over 22.5 (-108) |
[15] Petra Kvitova | +2.5 (-118) | +134 | Un 22.5 (-126) |
This is as close to a match as you can get. Sakkari and Kvitova are no strangers. The Greek is the slight favorite at -162, but is she the best bet in this match?
Maria Sakkari vs Petra Kvitova Prediction
This could be gamble number eight for Kvitova, where she can even out the head-to-head game. At the moment, Sakkari has a winning record against the Czech, 4-3, including a 3-2 record on outdoor hard courts.
Most recently, Sakkari and Kvitova saw each other in the round of 16 at last year’s Indian Wells. Sakkari won this meeting in straight sets. can she do it again
This week Sakkari had to fight his way through. All three of their matches lasted three sets to decide a winner, which is a bit uncharacteristic for the 27-year-old. Kvitova has also let two of her three go the distance, but most recently she upset Jessica Pegula to secure her place in the semis.
simply stunning tennis 🤩@Petra_Kvitova keeps Pegula in check and wins the last set to secure her place in the Quarterfinals!#tennisparadise pic.twitter.com/8jabw9DQHt

Sakkari has managed to win the last eight games out of nine in the desert, but those games haven’t been easy to win. This could be Kvitova’s chance to even their duel and secure a spot in the semifinals. At the moment, the Czech is playing smarter tennis than Sakkari, which could prove to be the difference in this match.
Best bet: Kvitova (+134)
