Ioan Gruffudd’s ‘three-year restraining order against Alice Evans’

Ioan Gruffudd has reportedly obtained a three-year restraining order against his estranged wife, Alice Evans.

According to MailOnline, the order bans Alice, 54, from mentioning him on social media.

Welsh actor Ioan was awarded a restraining order against the mother of his two daughters back in February.

However, tighter restrictions were introduced on Tuesday (2 August). This includes a ban on Alice sharing private text messages from her children Ella, 12, and Elsie, 8.

The couple split in March 2021. He went public with his romance with actress Bianca Wallace on Instagram last October.

Ioan reportedly attended the Los Angeles courthouse to witness the domestic violence restraining order being issued. However, Alice wasn’t there.

A source told the tabloid that Ioan hopes the new order will settle matters.

They reportedly said: “Ioan had no choice but to escalate his legal battle over Alice.

“She had become increasingly unpredictable and seemed intent on destroying his career with her character assassination.

“He hopes this puts an end to this.”

Additionally, court documents reportedly reveal that Ioan demanded that Alice not belittle Bianca either.

They state that Alice should not post on any social media account, “including but not limited to Instagram and Twitter accounts, that are derogatory or harassing [Ioan] or the other protected person”.

In addition, Ioan has requested that Alice not post his text messages or other communications to the children of the parties, or the children’s text messages or other communications to Ioan, on social media.

He also asked the judge to order Alice not to contact his employer or make derogatory statements about him to his employers.

Ioan allegedly added that Alice “has been using her social media accounts to continue to harass, threaten and disturb the peace” of me and my friend Bianca Wallace since the restraining order was issued.
