Is Steph Curry playing the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight? | February 1, 2023
Steph Curry has dealt with some injury issues in the 2022-23 season. The Golden State Warriors guard has missed 15 games so far this season, including 11 straight in December 2022 and early January 2023.
Thankfully, the four-time NBA champion made a successful recovery and is no longer listed on the injury report. Because of that, we expect Curry to adjust and play the Minnesota Timberwolves.
This is the second time these two teams have met this season. Playing for the first time in November 2022, the Warriors earned one of their rare road wins by defeating the Timberwolves 137-114.
Steph Curry is expected to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves
The Warriors marksman missed 11 games earlier in the season with a shoulder problem. Steph Curry also missed a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Jan. 20 after sustaining a hip contusion.
Luckily for the Warriors, the 6ft 2 guard is healthy and ready to play. The Dubs are in the middle of their 3-game road trip, taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves who are just 0.5 games behind them.
Not only is Curry expected to play, but he most likely won’t have a minute limit. The two-time MVP has made a full recovery from his injuries, which was just what the Warriors needed.
In the first game against the Timberwolves, Steph Curry led the Warriors by 25 points. While converting just 7 of 17 field goal attempts, the guard made up for the lack of efficiency with 11 rebounds and eight assists.

The Timberwolves did a great job of defending the eight-time All-Star, forcing him to shoot poorly off the field and flip the ball seven times. However, it wasn’t enough to beat the dubs.
Golden State Warriors fought on the streets
The Warriors have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NBA this season. After winning their fourth championship in eight years, the Dubs are just two games over .500 after 50 games.
With 19 wins and just six losses, the Warriors have one of the best records in the league at home. However, they struggled a lot on the street.
In 25 away games, the Warriors have only won seven times, which is very disappointing. Their Wednesday night matchup against the Timberwolves takes place in Minnesota and a win will be crucial to their playoff chances.
