ITV Coronation Street Helen Flanagan would be delighted with the return of Rosie Webster
Helen Flanagan, who played Rosie Webster on the soap, has confirmed she’s ready to return to the stage for years to come.
The actress – who has three children with footballer Scott Sinclair – said the timing had to come for her family.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Helen said: “I’d really like to return to ‘Corrie’ but it has to be when the time is right because my little boy is still little.”
Helen last appeared on Coronation Street in 2018 and has already pondered how her character might have changed.
She explained: “I would love to see Rosie as a mother, I think that would be interesting. I think she would push Sally with the kids and then just go and do whatever she wants.”
Last year, an insider revealed Coronation Street bosses would welcome Helen’s return to the show.
It has also been suggested that the actress misses the role of Rosie.
The source told The Sun newspaper at the time: “Helen is talking about plans to return – not this year but maybe late next year.”
“The bosses have made it clear they would welcome her back, and she sees the soap opera as family.”
“She misses her and playing with Rosie very much.”
