ITV gives This Morning’s Holly Willoughby more top roles

As well as her roles on This Morning and Dancing On Ice, the popular presenter will take on other roles in prime time, with her team leading “a range of conversations”.

This came after Holly and Alison Hammond appeared at the National Television Awards, where This Morning ended its 12-year winning streak for The Repair Shop.

Still, a source told Dem Mirror“It’s business as usual for Holly Willoughby” and the This Morning star had a good night out.

ITV wants to “boost” Holly Willoughby’s “squad” as it offers her more prime-time roles

Speaking about possible new roles, the source said: “Holly loves This Morning, sees her future on the sofa and isn’t going anywhere. But she always has an open ear for new ideas and opportunities, especially in prime time, parallel to her daytime role.”

It has been said that ITV rival BBC would also like to work with her.

This comes following speculation that the BBC was looking to snap up Holly Willoughby following the Philip Schofield controversy which shook the morning program to its core.

Speaking about the previous This Morning drama involving the former co-host, the source said Holly has “fully moved on”.

They added: “It was a tough time but Holly did nothing wrong and was always very open and honest. In fact, in many ways the conflict has only strengthened her mentally.”
