ITV unveils Loose Women format change as Christine issues plea

ITV lunchtime series Loose Women announced a big change for the show in today’s episode (3rd August).
The stars of the program announced that studio audiences will return after more than two years, starting next month.
Fan participation in recordings was suspended at this time due to COVID restrictions.
However, panelist Coleen Nolan told viewers that as of this writing, there are hopes of changing that in September.

Presenter Christine Lampard added: “We really missed having a studio audience. It’s just us here, it will be so nice to see you all coming back.”
She also urged viewers to take the opportunity to make the trip with friends.
Christine continues: “We want to get as many of you as possible to fill this studio from the beginning of September. It’s an opportunity for us all to meet and of course you can get a peek behind the scenes, the parts you don’t see on TV.
“Tell all your friends, get the whole gang together and join us in London for a day like no other,” she begged.

How Loose Women viewers reacted
Many fans were happy about the announcement.
“Finally,” one respondent wrote on Twitter, adding two raised hands emojis to his jubilant post.

However, some social media users said they prefer the show as it is right now.
“I’ll probably get shot down, but I’m enjoying the show better in its current format. Just my opinion,” noted one Insta user.
Also, someone else agreed: “Better without an audience. They gossip all the time. Just my opinion.”
