Preview of Season 13 Episode 1
Describes the plot of the latest installment of the Vera series: itv said: “In the opening episode entitled ‘Fast Love’, DCI Vera is called to a quiet country lane where a young man has been found dead after a car collision.
“She finds out the victim is a popular stockbroker, so she goes to his listing to get an idea of who the man is.”
“As the investigation gathers momentum, Vera learns that this cheeky guy was a complex character.
“Antagonistic, arrogant and able to get what he wanted, but did it all come at a price?
“To add complexity to the case, Vera is baffled by the return of Joe Ashworth (David Leon) and unsure of his motives.”
The three crime stories in the new series are inspired by the best-selling novels and characters of acclaimed crime writer Ann Cleeves.
