I’ve given my kids “trendy” R-names — people say they sound like dogs and ask if I was high when I chose them

WHILE some people like the idea of giving their baby a unique name, others are opting to go the traditional route.
One couple-to-be said they wanted to stick with nicknames beginning with the letter R since their other two children are in that same boat, so they took to Reddit to get some outside opinions.
The couple posted anonymously revealed that they don’t know if they’re going to have a boy or a girl next, so they needed both options.
“Looking for something trendy but not out of the ordinary,” they wrote.
As for the names of their existing sons? Anger and Renvy.
While they have an option for a third boy, “Rush”, they are torn on girls names.
“So far I only have Radison and Romy on my list. I’m not in love with her. Any suggestions?”
Her only detail was that the middle name would be “Sue”.
However, Reddit users turn them all off.
“How tall were they when they called Renvy??? And if this baby was conceived in a Radisson I think they have to go with it,” one person wrote.
“I’m not sure there’s a worse name for your kid than Rage,” added another.
“They’re obviously just jealous that they came up with such a unique name,” joked a third.
“They all sound like dogs,” stressed a fourth.
And another said that this couple exists on a different level than everyone else: “People who name their kids things like Rage and Storm clearly don’t have the same level of fear inside them as the rest of us.”
