The “Come Monday” hitmaker vowed that “aging isn’t for sissies” and said he’ll do so “in crab soup country” when he’s “good enough to perform.”
Buffett said his fans make his life more fulfilling and meaningful, something he never imagined as a “little toe-headed boy sitting on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico.”
Thanking fans for their thoughts and prayers for their years of loyalty, he told them, “Just think, ‘NOT YET!'”
The 76-year-old crooner did not explain why he was taken to the hospital. Last September, a hospital stay forced him to cancel the remaining performances for 2022. TMZ reported.
The South Carolina show was part of Buffett’s 2023 “Second Wind” tour. No new date has been announced, but ticket holders can attend the show.
