Joao Felix gives a fresh update on Chelsea’s future as the loanee hailed the “top club” ahead of the summer decision

oao Felix revealed he ‘loved’ his time at Chelsea and the striker spoke glowingly about his loan spell in England.
The 23-year-old joined the club from Atlético Madrid in January but had a disastrous start to his Chelsea career, being sent off on his debut against Fulham and only making his second appearance for the club in another month.
Felix has scored just three Premier League goals and has been struggling for regular minutes since Frank Lampard took charge of the club’s caretaker side following Graham Potter’s sacking.
Atlético are believed to need £88m for the permanent move this summer but could be open to another loan deal for a fee in the region of £16m after Felix fell out of favor under Diego Simeone at Madrid.
The striker has recently denied rumors of a move to Newcastle but is apparently much more open to the possibility of staying at Stamford Bridge despite the club not playing European football next season.
“I don’t know my future yet,” said Felix.
“But I loved those four or five months. It’s a top club, everyone at the club has been very good to me. My teammates are incredible. I really like being here.”
