John Dutton Confesses To Messing Up The Family In New Yellowstone Season 5 Teaser

If you are a fan of yellowstone, You inevitably have your opinion of Mr. John Dutton played by the greats Kevin Costner.

As much as you support the Dutton family, I think with a little thought you begin to understand that they’re a bit of an evil empire. It’s an odd place to be because on the one hand you support the Duttons, their commitment to the ranching community, their preservation of the cowboy way, their respect for the country, etc…

But on the other hand, they basically kill anyone who gets in their way. And I agree that their evil deeds are mostly defensive as opposed to initiating them, but we can’t pretend the Duttons are saints here.

Beth is borderline psychotic, Jamie (who is adopted) has his own issues to deal with, Kayce can’t seem to go two weeks without killing someone (despite being the most even-tempered member of the family). It is clear that John had a profound and generational impact on the lives of his children.

And while it’s easy to see that John is one of the most stubborn people on planet Earth, he admits something rather unique in this latest Season 5 teaser.

Montana’s new governor says:

“It must break my wife’s heart to look down and see the mess I’ve made of this house.”

He follows him with:

“And that sacrifice it took to give us a home…that sacrifice is exactly what we’re going to do.”

Very interesting…

We’ll know soon enough when Yellowstone Season 5 premieres on November 13th on Paramount Network.

Here’s the full trailer of Season 5:

Kevin Costner Says “Yellowstone” Is “Too Cheeky” For His Family To See

If you’ve seen at least one episode of yellowstone, then you already know that kevin costner, who plays John Dutton is the star of the show.

His tireless work to keep the Dutton family name and ranch alive has seen the Dutton destroy virtually every enemy that crosses their path, and it will be interesting to see if they are victorious in season five emerge knowing they can face their most powerful enemy yet.

Speaking of season five, Costner sat down with him recently extra to discuss how wild it can be.

In fact, he even admitted that he doesn’t let his family watch the show.

The 67-year-old famous actor told the outlet:

“It’s too naughty for them to see and they’re probably figuring out how to see it.” But it has some nasty little things that make everyone else enjoy it a lot.”

He continued:

“Listen, a lot of my films have some of these themes, so you’ll find them over the course of your life. I hope you find ‘Fandango’. I hope they find out what I’ve done with my life.

I am her father for sure.”

So no yellowstone at the Costner house, at least not when Dad’s around.

Costner shares three children, Cayden, 15, Hayes, 13, and Grace, 12, with his 18-year-old wife, former model Christine Baumgartner.

He also has four other children from previous relationships, in Annie, 38, Lily, 36, Joseph, 34, and Liam, 26.

Kevin Costner asks Yellowstone fans about their hopes for Season 5

It is official…

Yellowstone season 5 has green light start of production in May, and if we’re lucky and there aren’t any delays, we’ll gear up for the season premiere on November 13th.

And since that initial announcement, we’ve learned a few things… one of which is that Jen Landon (Teeter) and Kathryn Kelly (Jimmy’s fiancé Emily) have been elevated to regulars on the series.

That means Jimmy who seemed to be head to Texas At the end of season 4, will also be a big part of Season 5.

A number of the show’s stars took to social media to share the news about Season 5, and even the lead actor himself, Mr. John Dutton, shared the news on Instagram.

Kevin Costner shared a picture of the iconic Dutton Ranch and asked fans:

What should happen in season 5?

And there were a number of different answers, but three in particular held the greatest appeal:

Goodbye Monica Dutton

Apparently Yellowstone fans can’t stand Monica.

Kayce Dutton’s wife and mother of John’s grandson Tate, Monica (Kelsey Asbille) is public enemy number one in the Yellowstone world.

As for Season 5, some fans wanted to see Kayce leave her, and some cases even wanted her dead.

“So that Kayce’s wife will be sent away forever.”

“One Kayce moving back to the ranch

“I want Kayce to leave Monica.”

“Hopefully Monica moves far away and Kayce finds a real woman… not a ‘poor me’ victim.”

“Monica is dead! I’ve had enough of her now.”

Tell me how you really feel…

At least Beth has her back:

Jamie & Beth reconcile

Another popular hope for Season 5 is that Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and her brother Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) will find a way to bury the hatchet.

Granted, things seem to get worse between them as the seasons progress, but after putting a bullet in his birth father, Garrett Randall (Will Patton), maybe there’s hope.

“Jamie is to be exonerated by a life-saving good deed to the Dutton family.”

“Beth & Jamie make peace.”

“Jamie and Beth finally want to get along.”

“I’d love to see John and Beth forgive Jamie.”

“I want Beth and Jamie to turn things around and show that they once loved each other.”

“Jamie is taking a break and feeling like part of the family, Beth forgives him and moves on.”

A noble wish indeed…

But Jamie and Beth’s relationship also references the third and final (and rather surprising) wish for Season 5… a miracle baby.

Beth’s miracle baby

Yep…a bunch of Yellowstone fans want to see Rip and Beth have a baby, except of course there’s a little problem…Beth can’t have kids.

That’s why she wants to see Jamie six feet underground since he helped her get an abortion that resulted in her permanent infertility. Yes, they were probably both too young to understand the seriousness of what happened, but either way, fans are hoping for a miracle baby for Beth and Rip.

“Beth is having a miracle baby.”

“Beth getting pregnant and a miracle related to the birth of the child.”

“Jamie dies and Beth somehow gets pregnant.”

“Beth miraculously becomes pregnant.”

“Rip & Beth are having twins.”

I’m not sure if that’s one, but hey, anything’s possible on TV.

And finally, there were a few random hopes worth noting. Some you’d expect, and some way out of left field:

“I hope there is an opportunity for Yellowstone Ranch to share the land with the Broken Rock Reservation as a win-win.”

“Many visits to the train station.”

“I want John to find some happiness.”

“Rip beats people up.”

“I want Summer to get out of jail and get pregnant.”

Get out of prison and be pregnant? Getting pregnant in prison? This is new… but hey, stranger things have been happening.

So there you have it…that’s what Yellowstone fans are hoping to see from Season 5.

I think we’ll find out in the fall…
