In the Trails and Ys series, developer Nihon Falcom announced a revision to its financial results forecast, showing an increase over the previous forecast.
The developer now expects its net sales for the fiscal year ending September 30 to be 2,480 million yen instead of 2,400 million yen.
Working capital is expected to be 1,480 million yen instead of 1,200 million yen.
According to the company, pre-orders for the latest installment of The Legend of Heroes Trails series are solid, and sales of America-localized games in North America and Europe are strong, and Sino-Korean localized games are strong.
The smartphone game Ys Online: The Ark of Napishtim works very well.
The company also announced that JRPG’s Trails series has now shipped over 7 million copies, a fact that is not surprising in a niche franchise.
This legend of legend is history: September 29th Kuro no Kiseki II Crimson Sin will be released in Japan for PS5 and PS4 September 29th. If you want to know more about the game you can enjoy the recently released opening sequence gameplay and an English trailer that unfortunately does not indicate English localization, the latest trailer from Japan, another one in English, a section where there are more characters, and an additional gallery showing more characters.
A few times the new version of the current JRPG has not been announced for the west and the same goes for The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki which has reintroduced PS5 and PC in Japan.
NIS USA recently announced plans to localize The Legend of Heroes Trails From Zero to Azure, The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails, and The Legend of Heroes Trails From Reverie to PS4, Switch, and PC by 2023, according to a review that was published recently.
Barring a miracle, it’s unlikely to have the best chance of playing Kuro no Kiseki and Kuro no Kiseki II.
