K-pop star Ravi accused by VIXX of attempting to evade military service, agency responds

Ravi faces serious allegations.

The 29-year-old South Korean musician and boy band member VIXX new reports attempt to evade military service.

On Thursday (January 12), a group of brokers were reportedly arrested on corruption charges in an attempt to evade military service by sending clients to a neurologist at a Seoul hospital for a false epilepsy diagnosis they were given would help to either be exempted from military service or receive a lesser commission.

The brokers allegedly furthered their work by saying a famous idol rapper used their service to successfully earn a Class 4 (non-active duty) military rating and that the rapper retired from a variety show last May retired and volunteered as a social worker in October.

Ravi pulled from KBS2 2 days & 1 night in May and began his military service as a civil servant in October, making him a prime target of the allegations.

His agency GROOVL1N issued a statement the same day.
