Keep or Sell? Every Arsenal FC player has been rated ahead of the summer transfer window

Arsenal are already making plans for a busy summer in the transfer market and looking to add to their title challenge.
Co-chairman Josh Kroenke and sporting director Edu have promised Mikel Arteta they are determined to be back next season and the Gunners are planning a spending spree that could top £200m.
Arsenal will look to raise money by selling unwanted players to free up space in their squad.
This is where Standard Sport rate who they should keep, exonerate or stay with.
Aaron Ramsdale: should be Arsenal’s No1 for many more years to come and is expected to sign a new long-term deal. HOLD
Matt Turner: The backup goalkeeper has done well this season and is popular in the dressing room. HOLD
Alex Runarsson (on loan at Alanyaspor): has struggled since joining from Dijon in 2020. The best for all parties he changes. SELL
Karl Hein: At 21, Estonia are already No. 1 and could soon be making their mark in first-team football elsewhere. HOLD
Ben White: Although he switched to right-back this season and has been one of Arsenal’s best players, his versatility will continue to be a real asset. HOLD
William Saliba: could be a mainstay in Arsenal’s defense for many years to come. The Vital Club binds him to a new contract. HOLD

Rob Holding: has been a great servant since his £2million move in 2016, but centre-back looks like a position Arsenal can improve on. SELL
gabriel: He has started in every Premier League game this season and will look to expand his partnership with Saliba. Rewarded with a new contract in October. HOLD
Pablo Mari (on loan at Monza): His loan move will become permanent this summer, with Arsenal expected to pay in £6million. SELL
Jakub Kiwior: The January deal signing will take time to adjust but has shown promise in recent weeks. HOLD
Takehiro Tomiyasu: A useful squad player who can step in anywhere in defence, but may not be fit to start next season. HOLD
Cedric Soares: He is free to leave on loan at Fulham after six months but his £100,000-a-week wage could make it difficult to switch. SELL
Oleksandr Zinchenko: A revelation at left-back since his move from Manchester City last summer and crucial to Arsenal’s style of play. HOLD
Kieran Tierney: A great servant but doesn’t fit into the system at the moment and should fetch a good transfer fee. SELL
Auston Trusty (on loan in Birmingham): has excelled in the Championship this season and now it’s time for Arsenal to cash in. SELL
Nuno Tavares (on loan at Marseille): has impressed with his performances in France this season, which should have sparked interest. SELL
Ainsley Maitland-Niles (on loan at Southampton): After struggling with a relegated club, he will leave Arsenal when his contract expires this summer. RELEASE
Albert Sambi Lokonga (on loan at Crystal Palace): has not lived up to his potential and another loan or permanent exit makes sense for everyone. SELL
Charlie Patino (on loan at Blackpool): wants to play first-team football after a solid season in the league and is ready to leave Arsenal for it. SELL
Fabio Vieira: struggled in his first season in England but deserves time as he is only 22. HOLD
Granite Xhaka: is in advanced talks over a £13m move to Bayer Leverkusen and despite having had a great season, now feels like the right time to make the move. SELL
Georginho: It’s tempting for Arsenal to make money when an offer comes in. If not, the Italian has shown his experience is useful to a young squad. HOLD
Martin Odegaard: Captain and quality player Arteta should build the team. Could be even better with midfield reinforcements. HOLD
Mohamed Elneny: a perfect squad player. Popular with everyone, he jumps in when needed and signed a new contract in February after taking a pay cut. HOLD
Thomas Partey: His form faltered at a crucial point in the season, but he would benefit next season if he could be rotated more often. HOLD
Bukayo Saka: is about to agree to a new deal that will reflect his status as one of the Premier League’s best players. HOLD
Eddie Nketiah: has performed well when Gabriel Jesus was injured this season. A good squad player and a good option on the bench. HOLD
Emile Smith Rowe: Arsenal will be tempted to sell their No10 if they get a good offer. But he’s clearly talented and deserves a chance to prove himself. HOLD
Folarin Balogun (on loan at Reims): After 19 goals in Ligue 1 this season, Arsenal should look to monetize the forward while his stock is high. SELL
Gabriel Jesus: needs to score more goals but is still Arteta’s best number 9. His experience will be valuable in the Champions League. HOLD
Gabriel Martinelli: His ability to beat defenders sets him apart from other forwards and he is aiming for 20+ goals next season. HOLD
Leandro Trossard: The January signing will be a valuable squad player when Arsenal return to the Champions League next season. HOLD
Marquinhos (on loan at Norwich): The Brazilian winger still looks battered and needs another loan move to continue his development. LOAN
Nicolas Pepe (on loan at Nice): The club-record £72m signing can leave the club but Arsenal could struggle to find a taker given his salary. SELL
Reiss Nelson: Has made valuable contributions as a substitute this season but has to leave to pursue a career elsewhere. RELEASE
